Congratulations to Yuuya Watanabe, your 2012 Magic Players Champion! The finals were incredible to watch, with the last game being decided by the smallest of margins: whether a Stomping Ground came into play tapped or untapped. Yuuya took the finals three games to two against Shouta Yasooka.
The downstairs bar is filled with WotC and#MTG pros alike. The feelings are split between Yuuya and Shouta. Either way the#mtgpc is sweet!

The silence in the main stage room is unreal. From across the room you can hear every card flick from being played. Amazing.#mtgpc — Adam Styborski (@the_stybs) September 1, 2012
What an ending! Unreal.
#mtgpc Congratulations Yuuya!
