Duel Decks: Sorin vs. Tibalt

I think Tibalt is goin’ DOWN!!

Sorin is gonna mop the floor with Tibalt.

So this is going to be the ‘represent’ Duel Decks product for the block the way Venser vs. Koth was for Mirrodin. I must say, a wee bit disappointed that Mirrodin vs. Phyrexia wasn’t chosen as the theme of that deck, so we could see Metalcraft vs Infect….RWU vs BG…it coulda worked :P

I think there’s a real real strong chance the cards for Tibalt’s deck will be almost Devil-Tribal. Sorin, however, is probably not going to be Vampire Tribal- at least hopefully he will access some Humans as well, as after all he really took the Humans’ side, not the Vampires’, in the Dark Ascension.

I can’t think of any cards off the top of my head that will be ‘shoe-in’ and ‘awesome’, except I’m thinking that Lingering Souls and Intangible Virtue are not bad bets for Sorin.
Neither is Vault of the Archangel. Another thought I had was that Red doesn’t seem very ‘deep’ in Innistrad- a GREAT support color, but maybe not strong enough to ride the mono train….so I am guessing Red-BLACK, with a DEMON to go with the Devils, could be what Tibalt will get…

Oh and it’s also “Duel Decks: Guys in trenchcoats with swords”….so I’m definitely getting one on that basis alone- it’s ACTUALLY a PROPER DUEL!!! :D

I thought Sorin was feuding with Nissa, WTH is this?!?!

Ajani vs Nicol Bolas was a great match, and Ajani actually won that one according to the story, because Ajani was fueled by rage due to Bolas Murdering his older brother.

Wondering if Tibalt will be black red,

if so…( i know it goes against the 1 mythic policy and so will probably not happen but) ……

could avacyn be with Sorin ( he summoned her)

and Grisselbrand with Tibalt (as the final changer, as tibalt is more suited to early game)
