As Foretold is a card that was really exciting when it was first previewed. There were lots of people ready to explore what As Foretold could do in Modern with cards like Living End and Ancestral Vision. We saw a couple control decks leveraging this engine, as well as Time Warp decks. We even saw some decks trying to use Living End to piece together Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker plus Deceiver Exarch to combo off. What we haven't seen much of is people trying to see what As Foretold can do in Legacy:

As Foretold
In many ways, this deck is similar to the Mono-Red prison deck with Blood Moon, Chalice of the Void, and Ensnaring Bridge. You've got a lot of the same fast mana and many of the same payoffs, including Chandra, Torch of Defiance as well as the previously mentioned prison pieces. The question is what you gain for splashing an additional color.

The answer is complicated. Rather than Hazoret the Fervent and other medium threats, you have access to As Foretold, Ancestral Vision, and Restore Balance. These cards are super interesting. Restore Balance is completely dead without As Foretold, while Ancestral Vision is not really what you want to be doing in the early game. With an As Foretold, though, your ability to use Chrome Mox and Simian Spirit Guide to empty your hand for Restore Balance, demolish your opponent's position, and then reload with Ancestral Visions is pretty exciting.

In addition to the As Foretold engine, you also have access to a bunch of Blue Planeswalkers which you can power out and protect with Ensnaring Bridge. Jace, the Mind Sculptor and Dack Fayden are both probably better than cards like Hazoret and Goblin Rabblemaster in the abstract. Both of them also play particularly well with the As Foretold engine, since they let you get rid of mismatched engine pieces in favor of cards that you can actually leverage.

If you're looking for a fast prison deck with a few more angles than just Chandra and Hazoret, this seems like a really interesting take. In exchange for making yourself more vulnerable to opposing Blood Moons, you gain the As Foretold engine, which can lead to devastating blowouts and give you some longevity, as well as powerful Blue Planeswalkers. This deck does a lot of fast, powerful, and exciting things, and I can't wait to see it in action.
