Damien Bouillot has won Grand Prix Lyon! In a Top 8 full of veterans including Vincent Lemoine, Christian Seibold, and Tomaharu Saito, it was Damien who by his own admission has had no "interesting" previous Magic accomplishments to his name to take the trophy.

Bouillot did not have an easy path to victory. Having gone through Lemoine in the semifinals he was up against Seibold in the ultimate round. In the end, it was Damien's powerful blue-black deck featuring Ob Nixilis, Reignited that helped push him past Seibold's blue-white deck.
