Hello everyone and welcome back, the Pack to Power quest is now underway. The kick off was a blast, there was a lot of energy in the air. I was hoping that the energy resulted in a pack like my buddy Rocky got.

But instead I got this pack.

Which had this:

My first trade was with my friend Jamie Kelum, he was gracious enough to take the two best cards (besides the Tip Card) off my hands. I really wanted the first trade to include Wall of Omens, I knew that the walls would give me a good base to start from.

As I expected the Wall of Omens traded pretty hot, I was able to score a Foil Liliana Vess and some lands.

I used the Eldrazi in the First trade to get more trade fodder in trade three.

As you can see this is going to take a while and typically I would be hitting the streets to flip my cardboard but instead I spent the week in Paris (France) "working." I tried to avoid trades that would be to heavily in my favor because I want this to be as realistic as possible, but there is one card which will trade much higher than its normal value.

The tip card.

The tip card from the pack has generated a lot of interest and I expect this to trade very well. There are two guys on twitter who are interested in the card @AffinityForBlue and @joelniddrie. I also received a text from my friend Ben Lewis who wants the Tip card. I am not sure who it will go to but the value is definitely growing. I have decided not to trade the Tip card until I am more established; I don't want the haters to say "If it wasn’t for the tip card, blah blah blah." Until then this is what I have to work with.

I am pretty excited to see that the Pack to Power story has inspired others to start their own quest they have been chronicling their journey on twitter via the #PackToPower hashtag. I wish everybody luck in their endeavors, even @ahalavais who has challenged me to race to power.
