CMDR Decks is produced, edited, and (mostly) filmed by Uriah Oxford. He has been playing EDH/CMDR since 2008, and is a casual player at heart. Uriah lives in Colorado and travels around to larger tournaments when time allows. He does not live in a fortified compound in the mountains of Aspen.

Hazezon is my favorite commander. W/G/R are my personal fav colors, and my tactics in most of my MTG decks are spamming tokens. So he has everything I want in a General.

My own EDH deck with him focusses on ramping lands, spamming saprolings, turning them into more lands. And playing Hazezon… then copying Hazezon 2-3 times (even got 5 Hazezon’s on the field at one time XD). This will destroy him, but next turn I’ll get 2-3 Sandwarriors for each land I got (without the problem of losing them because Hazezon gets destroyed). Then boosting them, and killing most of my enemies in a single turn.

I have recently put a Haze deck together and could not be happier. He ramps, He makes a shit ton of tokens. The deck has super fun combos and when I win…I win big and more frequently. Plus an excuse to roll with a 25 dollar general…who doesn’t love it?
